First year at University

Time (as always) has passed so fast I haven`t even noticed. We are about to finish this year, my first year of University and I'm not even close to believe it. Every time I remember I'm only 19 years old and I already had to choose what I'm supposed to do the rest of my life, I wonder how did it all happen so fast. I think about when I was little and my bag was bigger than me, and all the things I could have done but I didn't. So now I appreciate and enjoy every minute.
I'm glad I made a good choice because I've seen how my friends from high school have made wrong choices and they are now wondering what they want for life. But I am happy learning English, and I get happier and surprised every time I learn something I never thought that existed or I didn't knew. That is when I realize how much I still need to learn and be taught.
By now I'm loving phonetics. Each class I learn something new. I want to have a perfect English (or at least the best I can) so that my students won't be ashamed for me. I want to be a funny but also demanding so they will feel comfortable and learn at the same time. And they will feel thankful , like I am for the English teachers I've had, incluiding you. Thank you!

Recently Read

I haven´t read a book since I left school, a year ago. But every night I spend some minutes reading the Bible. It's something not very common or usual among people in general. My goal is to finish it as soon as I can. I think that to have an opinion of something you must know about it. So if I get to read it entirely, my opinion will be based on what I read. Besides, I think it is a very interesting book. Even though it's one of the oldest books that exists, it answers every question that all of us may have about our lives in the present and the future. And you can't read it as you read a novel, because it would become difficult to understand. It's better if you read and analyze it by topics. I always find interesting and useful advices for daily life. And I make my reading easier by looking for some magazines or books related to what I'm reading.

Pros and Cons about travelling by Airplane

Travelling by airplane is my favourite way of travelling. First of all they are comfortable and clean. You can sleep or watch a movie or do anything you want. Secondly, they are fast. In less than two hours you can be into another country. And finally it's AMAZING, because you pass through the clouds, you see your town from the sky, you can feel like you are flying. You can see through the window how the airplane takes off and lands. And they always have all kinds of food and drinks. In one word: fantastic!

However there are also some cons. Even though they are safe, sometimes accidents happen and lots of people have paid with their lives. In addition to that, if you can't afford the best airline or the best ticket, you'll have to face the consequences like landing it some other countries before reaching your destination. And you could lose your luggage if your airline is not responsible.

The day the lights went out

It was Saturday evening, about 8 o`clock. We were in our car, my father was taking me to a friend's house. I wasn`t very sure of the adress so we were a bit lost. Suddenly when we were trying to find the steet we were looking for, all the lights went out. I thought it was something wrong only in that neighbourhood, but I was wrong. It afected from the 4th to the 8th region. When we finally get to my friend's apartment, my father told me he was picking me up a few hours later, and I entered to the building. I found a couple of friends in the hall, and they told me they were baking some muffins and making some mexican "tacos" but they coudn`t see anything, so they went down. While we were talking, a friend call saying that she was lost and scared because everything was too dark.We tried to figure out where she was but the call ended. We went to look for her where we thought she was, but nothing, whe couldn`t find her. We suppose she went back home for safety. And even we tried to communicate with her, the telephone lines where colapsed and we couldn`t. So we went back to the apartment and found a flashlight to help us to get things out of the oven an put them in the table. It was very funny indeed. We ate a lot (they prepared a lot of food for all my friends but we were only three) and had some ice-tea and tell funny stories about our lives. It was so fun, that when the lights came back on we all said : ohhhh! and put sad faces. We realized that even things didn`t work out the way we thought we had a great time that we will always remember.

What should I do?

"What should I do?My parents are so overprotective" was the first question I heard after listening carefully to my friend. "What a difficult question" I answered. If I were you , I would talk to my parents, and tell them how I feel. Tell them you need more independence, that you are doing your best to be a good daughter . That you know they worry about you because you are the youngest and only daughter , and that your brothers never asked permission to do the same things, but you are different , you are a women , a grown woman . And you know you still need help to make your own desicions, but there are some things you can be responsible for. Otherwise some day, when you are big enough, you will get bored of this situation and you'll just go away and do things you always wanted to.
Ask them if there is anything they want you to change, or maybe they are expecting too much and they want you to be a perfect daughter. Discussing things is always the best solution, and helps to improve communication with your parents.

Richie Rich

Macaulay Culkin was born in New York on 26th August 1980. He is an American Actor. He studied in a Catholic school and also learned ballet at the School of American Ballet. He is the third of seven children , and his aunt Bonnie Bedelia, was an actress.

One of the most well-known films he has worked on is Home Alone. He was only ten years when he filmed that movie. He suddenly became famous and earned loads of money. He got married to Rachel Minier when he was 17, but they divorced two years later. Then he started dating another actress, Mila Kunis. Their relashionship lasted 8 years , until 2010.

Around the time of his first Home Alone movie , Culkin was part of Michael Jackson's video "Black or White", and they became close friends.He often stayed at the Neverland Ranch home. He is also Michael Jackson's both children's godfather. He had to testify in Jackson's trial.

In September 2004 , the police caught him for possesion of draugs. Since that date he has been known for different kind of messes he has been part of. It is said that his drug problem was caused by his young fame.

I am 18 years old , but I will always be as a child inside :)
I like english a lot , since I was a little child , maybe because my mum wanted me to learn.
And I used to teach my classmates when they didn`t understand, and I liked it.
I decided to become an english teacher because I realized that as a country we need to improve our english level , and the only way to reach that is by having good english teachers.
In my free time I love sharing with my family and friends , I really enjoy that. Also listening too music while I travel and meeting new places. I love doing lots of different things in the day , and hate routine.
